At the end of 1800, Syrah was in almost every Italian region, even if the greatest part was in Tuscany, where it was mainly used to improve Chianti. Today, it is the main vineyard in Cortona, well known and appreciated worldwide for its amazing qualities and for its adaptability to the Tuscan area.
